Retrofit canisters are designed as a replacement for existing canisters or to increase the current diameter of the canister. This usually occurs when the client needs to have a larger canister to be able to support the proposed, new, and existing equipment. The canister diameters can range from 36" to 124". We can custom make your canister to your required diameter. We also make and supply the bulkheads and other steel that is required.
Retro fit canisters are designed to meet the needs of the customer. They are manufactured to the diameter and length that the customer needs. This is usually determined by the amount and size of equipment to be enclosed by the canister.
We offer Solid or Vented canisters. Each style of canister has its advantages. The biggest advantage of the vented canister it helps the air flow in the canister and in turns reduces the heat inside the canister. Vented canister has the optional HDPE mesh available to put behind the slots. This helps keep bugs out of the inside of the canister.
Canister panels are made from RF friendly materials. We use HDPE plastic for our canister panels and H-Brackets. HDPE is a durable but flexible material that works well for our canister panels. We try to keep the weight of the panels manageable for the contractor, we may use multiple panels to enclose the canister.
All structures are finished with hot-dip galvanization per ASTM A123 for superior corrosion resistance and durability. We offer optional in-house painting of the tower.
The bulkheads and other metal parts are made from steel.
Fasteners are hot dip galvanized.
